CANDLE CARE 101

Your candle's longevity and health lies in the first session of lighting your candle.

To give it it's best life:

1. Let the wax melt evenly across the entire surface, reaching the edges of the vessel (this is good practice, but only necessary for the first burn, you can be more lenient with subsequent burns.) 

2. Do not extinguish pre-maturely. Extinguishing it pre-maturely, will result in wax tunneling- shortening the burn time of the candle considerably.

Favorite candles out there!

These are incredible! I had tried No. 2 and thought it was my favorite scent -- turns out I think they all are. They aren't overpowering and really set a nice mood in the house.

Soy Candle Set

I like the 03 scent the best (clove bud, lemongrass, etc). They burn cleanly and didn't irritate my breathing which does happen with other candles. I appreciated the natural scents rather than pungent/too strong that often comes with brands with artificial ingredients. I wish the candles had more throw...the scent is pretty limited at least during first 15 minutes of burning and doesn't fill rooms even when small so that would be my main request if changed. will be interested in new scents with better throw should they be developed.

Hi Bethea, thanks for your honest review. Pure essential oil candles generally tend to have more of a subtle scent as the fragrances aren’t made artificially to optimize scent throw, but rather, every oil has a different flash point and burn off differently depending on their each individual characteristics. An overwhelming portion of candles on the market is now scented with a blend of fragrance and essential oils because of this, but that takes away from a clean candle. We recommend keeping the candle lit for a longer burn for the scent to permeate and you should definitely be able to smell the difference. Number 3 is my favorite all-time candle.

It smells fresh, clean, warm, and invigorating all at once. The scent radiates so nicely!
